      85 wins

      3rd place

The pitching kills the teams chances of making the playoffs and the teams run differential catches up with them. Gaby Sanchez doesn't see June and Maybin turns baby steps into toddler steps.

*this all changes if a big piece (arm and or 1B) is added at deadline but I doubt that will be the case before they get in the new stadium.

        Starting pitching holds us back.

              2nd place
No playoffs. This obviously changes if the rotation can be solidified or if Clay Hensley/the Holland Hammer give us more than the occasional good start intersparsed among shit.

I've gone through why I think the Wild Card is won with 88-90 games, and I think we're good enough to get there. If we go out and get (and it won't happen) Adrian Gonzalez or Pedro or another good 3rd starter option, I think we can take the division. I don't think we have to improve tremendously for the WC.
