And deadspin, like Bill Simmons before them, tries to make sports comments for the common man who pretend sports are for the common man, as the voice of the common man, yet only relevant to the largest of franchises. Alarmingly hypocritical.

That said: Absolutely. The "no fan" thing was a completely overarching statement that's obviously (and immediately) proven untrue. My general point is that there aren't enough. But that doesn't change that to every individual fan, it doesn't matter if there are five others or 500,000,000. As a long-suffering Arizona Cardinals fan (before the last couple of years, anyway), I should have understand that and made it more clear.

I can't believe baseball starts so soon. I can't wait.
