The Marlins announced that they have invited 22 non-roster players to Major League spring training.
The Marlins have signed the following 13 players to minor league free agent contracts with invitations to Spring Training: Right-handed pitchers Clay Hensley, Seth McClung, Kasey Olenberger, Matt Peterson, Chris Schroder, Scott Strickland, Derrick Turnbow and Jose Veras; catcher Vinny Rottino; infielders Brian Barden, Hector Luna, Donnie Murphy and Danny Richar.
The following nine organizational players were extended Spring Training invitations: Left-handed pitchers Dan Jennings and Jay Voss; catchers Brad Davis and Chris Hatcher; infielders Matt Dominguez, Ozzie Martinez and Logan Morrison; outfielders Bryan Petersen and Michael Stanton.
Pitchers and catchers will hold their first workout on Feb. 20, and the first full-squad workout will be Feb. 24.
