Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com reports that the Marlins have agreed to terms with right-hander Ricky Nolasco on a one-year, $3.8 million contract.
The two sides avoided arbitration, with the 27-year-old receiving a $1.4 million raise. Last season was an uneven campaign for Nolasco, as he finished at 13-9 with a 5.06 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 195 strikeouts in 185 innings, even finding himself demoted to Triple-A New Orleans at one point. His 16-strikeout finale against the Braves is likely still fresh in fantasy owners minds, but after an unlucky season, he's a fantastic rebound candidate.
