Olenberger and Fulton give us AA pitching depth
Tripp is a big OF who gives us AA OF depth
Vinny Rottino C isnt that bad of a pickup can play in AAA with Hayes or AA
Jesse Foppert GREAT pickup if this was 2004 now just filler in AAA

Hector Luna is a nice pickup tho Can play all over(Andy Gonzalez last year)

I highly doubt we resign Amezaga at 1.4 mil or so tho. More than likely a big name team will come calling on him.

Can have Luna and Boner battle for the utility role with the loser down to AAA

Luna MLB Career MLB career .270/.324/.388, 1.024 in ALB last year.

Basically, we are all praying Bonifacio can hit like Hector Luna's career rate. uh.

I don't they care what his career numbers are,he will cost about 800k less than Amezaga,is still 28 or so,and can play 2B,SS,3B,and OF

He can either beat Boner out or Boner can beat him out and he will be another Andy Gonzalez, overall a great pickup

Add Brian Barden and James Houser as signed too per BA

Barden should compete with Luna and Boner for the utility job

Houser is a nice get tho put according to BA still has to serve a 25 game suspension

Also signed Scott Strickland, which could be an interesting arm to have in camp.

                        http://twitter.com/jonmorosi/status/6899921693

The Marlins signed infielder Danny Richar to a minor league deal, tweets Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports. Richar elected free agency after being outrighted by the Reds back in November. The 26-year-old hit .290/.330/.438 in 181 Triple A plate appearances this year. The second baseman had labrum surgery in July. He came to the Reds from the White Sox in July of '08 with Nick Masset in the Ken Griffey Jr. trade.
