Whats the deal with Doolittle? He's been in the organization awhile and he's had pretty good success. Good K/BB and K/9 but he has always been old for his level.

Well the Marlins like him enough that they sent him to the AFL, but they didn't like him enough to protect him in the Rule V pre-09 (and, since he wasn't taken, shows the other 29 teams don't like him enough).

At this point I don't think his age really matters, I wouldn't put him in the "prospect" group but rather the "MILB FA RP" group. Speaking of, pretty sure he's a FA at the end of this season.

He's definitely someone I think we could see down the road but as an injury fill in, massive ineffectiveness, ect. But we also currently have a surplus of C RP prospects. If he didn't miss basically all of last year because of injury, I wonder if he starts the year in NOLA (Where he is now) instead of Jax, which would have set him up better to have come up this season.
