Dominguez is a slow starter in his normal playing leagues. Maybe that's the case here.

Andrew Miller is starting tomorrow for the first time since the 29th. I haven't been able to find anything that mentions why he hasn't pitched in two weeks.

I'm really not worried much at all with Andrew's results. It's just about getting work in. I mean yeah, it shows he still needs to get more work in, better results would be a hell of a lot better, but he's not suppose to be at his best down there, he's working on things.

Bryan Petersen was named AFL Player of the Week for Week 5.

The 6-foot, 200-pound Petersen, the Fall League's only .400 hitter entering the final week of play, batted .563 (9-for-16) last week with four runs, a double, two triples, a home run, five RBIs and two stolen bases. He also walked twice.

The 23-year-old Irvine, Calif. native enters the season's final week hitting .422 (35-for-83). He has hit safely in 17 of his 18 appearances and boasts 11 multi-hit games. In league rankings, he is first in batting average, second in hits, tied for third in total bases (54), fourth in on-base percentage (.449), and fifth in runs (54) and slugging percentage (.651).

Petersen, Florida's fourth-round pick in the 2007 Draft out of California-Irvine, is a .286 hitter in 309 games over three Minor League seasons. He hit .297 in 2009 for Double-A Jacksonville.

XBH are still pretty low, but pretty solid contact. I'd like to see some more walks though.

I'm going to be pretty happy if he rounds out in the high 700s OPS wise.

Something to remember about the ISO is the amount of 3b's he had

3b's are a lot more a product of speed rather than power.

Treating those 3b's as 2b's drop his SLG to .428, or a .116 ISO.

                              My projection currently has him at 15 HRs, 27 2b and 3 3b, 9% BB and 19% K, .310 BABIP, .137 ISO

                              for .269/.340/.406/.746 line

very "meh" for a corner OFer unless he steps up defensively or on the base paths. And if those 5 HRs don't show up like I think they will, he'll have problems breaking .700. I still have Cousins above him. Still a major plus is he's a lefty that hits lefties though.

You could argue the K's but he struck out 17% of the time in the AFL and has a career K rate of 20%. Maybe dropping to 18% would be better, which would up him to a .272 avg/.753 OPS
                              --------------------
FWIW's Chone has him at 19% K to, but dropped him to 8% BB, but also only have him at .113 ISO/9 HRs so bb probably does drop with that.
