Jerar has a cannon. Has 11 OF assists already this year!! Gonna be fun to watch him over next 2 years,he could be an option in RF

good to sierra at least attempting steals. didnt seem to be even trying to take advantage of his speed in Jax. He should be running just about every time he is on first.

Diaz went deep again. We've got some pitchers dealing too, including Gallen of course.

Maybe they realized they are passed the Super 2 deadline and he can throw the rest of his pitches at the MLB level for the next 3.5 seasons without having to take him to arbitration.

*I am assuming we are passed it because of Houston calling up Alvarez which seems like a very obvious indicator from a smart team

Poteet should be in AAA. Fantastic outing from Rogers. Fortes with a pretty solid first 100 or so ABs in Jupiter.

They will be moving guys up soon as Minor League AS Games happen/Draft Picks sign

LOTS of guys should be getting moved up(lets just hope they do). The SP backlog is due to ML staff which is never a bad thing.

                        From BA:

Trevor Rogers, LHP, Marlins. Rogers was dominant on Sunday, allowing just three base runners across six scoreless innings for high Class A Jupiter. The lefthander struck out nine batters and got into a groove, retiring 12 consecutive batters after issuing two weeks in the first inning. It was a bounce-back start for Miami’s No. 12 prospect, as he allowed 10 earned runs over his previous two starts.

It'd be really nice if Banfield and Scott and big 2nd halves to their seasons. At 19 years old in their 1st year in a legit professional league, their numbers are neither surprising or something to worry about IMO, but being able to show they've grown as players at this level and be able to move on up to Jupiter next year would say a lot about what kind of prospects they'll be.
