Mokma's older brother, Mike, is a junior at Michigan State, where Chris is also committed to play next year. Both brothers are tall right-handed pitchers. Chris stands 6-foot-5 and 195 pounds, and he gets up to 93 mph with his fastball. He also throws a soft curveball and has some feel for his changeup. Mokma threw three perfect games at Holland Christian High School, tying a Michigan state record -- and came within one out of throwing a fourth in mid-May.

The six-foot-four-inch right-handed pitcher has been up to 94 MPH with his fastball this season and also features an impressive breaking ball.

Mokma will be on the mound for tonight’s regional semifinal game against Grand Rapids Catholic Central.
