finally a bounce back outing for stewart. And nice to see some hits out of VVM. He needs to heat up and i feel like he will eventually. As bad as he's been, he still has just a 24/11 K/BB in 184 ab's which is a pretty phenomenal K rate. He's listed at 165 though, he really needs to put on some muscle.

The height and weight on HS picks and IFA are wrong on MLB sites. Rojas was 6'0 150 for 6 years and when hit majors became 5'11 195

I was never too high on elieser but he’s been incredible this year. I know they want him as a starter but I’d be cool with him out of the pen In the big leagues until we deal urena and then go with a 6 man rotation with him and gallen for the rest of the year

If you dream of a SS that can hit, you have to take notice. He's a Monte Harrison type, a cold weather, multi-sport guy with limited early exposure to baseball. Coming on gangbusters. Along with Jerar Encarnacion, one of the system's real sleepers. Yadiel Rivera has really started to develop as a hitter also. Marlins loved his glove last year ... now he's hitting third and has 10 homers at NO.

Hernandez went from A+ ball to the majors last year, a consequence of Rule 5 standards. Seems like a much more viable starting option than Alcantara right now, especially since Alcantara's limitations are better suited to pen. Same applies to Gallen.

Huh? Sims won't be at SS he is 2B type with decent bat who turns 24 next month. Soon as Devers comes back he is at SS. Nothing like Harrison and Sims has been playing baseball for years

Yeah Sims, did absolutely nothing his first two years. A great first 156 ABs this year, though. Probably needs to be up to AA by the end of the year to make a blip on the prospect radar due to his age, but I'd love to see a guy like him emerge out of nowhere as a prospect.

He’s 24 years old in low a ball. The hell are you guys talking about? He’s also got just a mid .800s ops, not sure where you guys are getting this idea he’s lighting the world on fire. Justin twine regressed to his crappy mean so now we need a new mediocre prospect to overhype off of a small sample size?

He’s 23 for another month actually, but the point remains

Turns 24 in a month. It's a small sample size, sure, and yeah what he did in Clinton, not really worth noting, but his first couple games in Jupiter caught my eye.

Also, yeah it's a small sample size, but Sims' whole career is a small size. He's got less than 500 professional ABs. Not saying he's a prospect, just a guy to watch.
