Zac Gallen has allowed 1 ER in 25 1/3 IP.

He was good last year and stepped his game up so far. He's striking out people to. Major league talent.

Sierra and Harrison’s early success has me encouraged. I really still think Sierra becomes a productive player if given time to develop the bat

Yup, he will be first up when someone gets injured or a sp needs to be sent down

Not saying he wont or shouldn't but remember that Gallen is NOT on the 40 man. Elieser/Noesi have looked great(actually ALL arms except Neidert,Duggar and Garrett have-Garrett isn't bad just "rust"). SP has looked great and lots of RP have too-few lower level RP have struggled

          http://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp...ching/2019/ALL

He will getting added and called up this year just not as soon as many expect

The bats haven't looked great but I love how they are all getting playing time and seeing if sink or swim. Chris Torres has probably looked the worst as he is having trouble with the bat AND at SS while the Jupiter guys well have looked like most Jupiter guys

With our sp depth I wouldn’t mind seeing a Guzman bullpen transition if he can have more control out of the pen. Any idea on if he can get even a few more mph out of there?

So Trevor Rogers is doing great to start Jupiter. 2.01 ERA in 4 starts.

Wish the team had hitting prospects even close to what they got in pitcher depth.

Want more K’s from Rogers. But yeah very encouraging.

Would like more K's but only 5 walks all year. Major improvement-he looks like a SP

They really need to put him in the pen. He is going further than LY but his control is all over the place. With all the SP depth u could put him in the ML pen in August(Trade Steck) and he would fit in perfect

thrilled to see the really good plate discipline and patience from both Sierra and Harrison. If they keep this up through May id call them both up.

our pitching depth is gonna be very good in a year or 2. They are gonna have to figure some things out when this wave of pitchers from jupiter starts getting Ml ready. They are gonna havve a bunch of options to choose from if they want to deal from the SP prospects for some hitting.

Lumberking George Soriano has a perfect game going through six. The opposing pitcher has given up a single hit.

Yamamoto shelled today for Shrimp ... but in line for a win.

It's becoming apparent that some excellent coaching (pitching) is going on at Clinton and Jupiter. Oviously it's early, but I can easily see a handful of Miami arms in the Top100 prospect list for 2020.

Harold Ramirez was 4-5 with 2 2B and a HR last night for New Orleans. Dean was 3-4 with a HR.

Can anyone explain why these two are down in AAA and Galloway and Berti are in the Majors?

and herrera. Dean should be up here and sierra and monte should be up in june/july if they keep this up. Its not even just us, but for some reason teams love these retread, speedy OF's who cant hit worth a lick and have no hope of improvement. Herrera has done nothing in his career and especially this year to justify being on the roster.

We could have a bunch of them. Realistically, there is a path for VVM, Devers, Sixto, Gallen, Neidert, Garrett, Rogers, Holloway, and maybe even Stewart to find their way on the back end of some top 100 lists. They wont all do it, just saying i could see each of them individually getting onto the back end of some lists at the end of the year. We are incredibly healthy from a SP perspective moving forward. To the point where i wish they didnt focus exclusively on pitching in these deals and found some more hitting in some of the deals. We can always deal from the strength when the time comes but regardless, this pitching staff at the very least should be fantastic come 2021-2022.

Its annoying that it took us dealing literally everything away in order to get pitching. Especially given that we wouldnt have needed to do that had we not made short sighted moves for guys like Straily, the pittsburgh front office guy, and Rodney.

One thing that doesnt get talking about enough with the old regime is that they did a legitimately good job at finding and drafting/signing talent. Granted we traded them all away, but over the last 10 years out track record for signing/drafting/developing stars is pretty good. JT, Yelich, Stanton, Jose, Paddack, Williams, Castillo, Ozuna, Moran has developed elsewhere, Josh Naylor is a top 100 guy. The problem hasnt been finding top end talent, it has been not making shortsighted moves to add to non-contenders at the expense of good prospects and quality depth. And it is the exact reason why we never succeeded with the previous core- loria completely decimated the depth in the system because he is a short sighted idiot and we never had any depth and therefore we would crumble and have a month where we spiral out of contention almost every single year.
