So Robert Duggar has a 2.21 ERA in August. Dunand also loves August.

2.90 ERA for Brigham in 7 starts in New Orleans. He should be able to compete for a rotation spot in Spring Training next year. This team has a plethora of options for pitchers (if not top end).

GBoro lineup is amazing!!! It is made up of our TOP young bats and they all are too young for the level.

      Only missing 1B(Reynolds) and 3B(?)

Josh Roberson now a 1.21 ERA in 10 games in the GCL. Greensboro please but time is close to up.

Beggs starting off Jax hot after being hot in both GBoro and Jupiter this year. At 25 years old it makes sense to hot shot him to the majors by 2019.

Monte Harrison with an .873 OPS in August.

Peter O'Brien really wants a 3rd chance at the majors. 1.085 OPS in AAA.

Its super early, but Tristan Pompey reminds me a lot of Nick Markakis in terms of style of hitter (and also as a Corner OF). Really excited to see what he does next year.

Brian Miller is finally struggling after a year of ridiculous hitting since getting drafted. He's never gonna be a power hitter but he needs to develop a little power if he is going to make it as an everyday OF. He'd be a good 4th OF possibly, but unless he becomes more than a slap hitter he wont survive at the big league level as a starter.

There have been a lot of dissapointments on the farm thus far this year but also in the first year of a rebuild we have done a fantastic job of adding a ton of depth and talent to the system that was horrendous before last years draft. We need to and will continue to add high end talent through IFA and high picks the next few years, but the depth in the system is incredibly important as well and the lack of it under the previous regime was a huge part of the reason we stunk for so long.

If we activate Brinson and send him to AAA for the rest of the season and say he hypothetically gets injured down there or struggles mightily or whatever, is it still enough time to send him down for the rest of the year and get that extra year of service time? Or is that too late in the year now.

I mentioned it before, but I'd like to see Brigman and Pompey in AA before the season's over.

Lewis Brinson 1-14 in AA. You can't possibly give this guy his job back at the big league level right? Is that really going to help him?

Lewis Brinson 1-14 in AA. You can't possibly give this guy his job back at the big league level right? Is that really going to help him?
To be fair, he hadn’t played in a game since July 3rd and he’s only had 14 at bats. I get what you’re saying but I’d give him a few more games before making any decisions.

Its hard to put into words how mismanaged brinson has been the entire year.

Alcantara with a few nice starts after coming back from injury. Should be up in September for a few starts.
