6th round #MLBDraft pick C Cameron Barstad will reportedly sign with the Miami #Marlins. He "plans to sign right away and is scheduled to fly out to Florida on Sunday."

He had a messed up wrist since March 2018 however now we get this news

#Marlins C prospect @cameron_barstad had successful surgery today to replace a broken scaphoid bone.

Good news is he is 18 ALL year and we got Fish in Batavia but why do these kids wait so long-should just have gotten surgery in Aug NOT Feb 2019

Nah probably ready by June/July. He was gonna be the GCL C anyways and season doesn't start till mid June
