Does Lopez have much left to prove in AA? I'm sure he'll get a few more starts in Jacksonville, but a promotion to New Orleans or Miami can't be far off if this continues.

James Nelson tweeted this morning that he's been cleared to play. I assume he starts in Jupiter.

Thanks for Nelson update; he seems to have a real chance. Pablo Lopez allowed leadoff hits in three innings last night - two of them doubles - and quickly shut things down. He's been impressive. Any word of a pending return for Jeff Brigham?

Ya Lopez should be in Nola very soon. Excited to see Nelson back too, though I don’t think he’s the type of prospect that some think he is, I’m excited to see if he can do what he did last year again in a pitchers league this tome

I wonder if Lopez is top 100 now. Mish tweeted yesterday that scouts have told him he’s our best prospect

Nelson can hit and plays a solid 3B. His issue is power

Never thought I would say this but we might have too much SP depth right now. NOT saying good arms but if we get a solid offer for Urena or Straily I wouldn't mind if they took it OR if some team offers to take Chen for half of the cash. Get stuff for them and move guys up

            - - - - - - - - - -

Brett Graves has to come up by next week. Not sure if he sticks but they will probably give him 1 or 2 starts before deciding

Isan Diaz is back for Jax. Maybe the concussion will get him hitting?

im not really worried about him at all. More worried about Harrison than him, and im not that worried about Harrison. Both are still just 21 and Diaz has shown great plate discipline in Jax, just a matter of him getting more experience and getting more removed from injury from last year. His fielding worries more than anything else.

It's nice Guzman is pitching well because Jose Devers is not panning out early in that Stanton trade.

I'm really just here to join the Pablo Lopez fan club.

Devers isn't panning out? He's 18 in Greensboro and doesn't turn 19 until December. According to Baseball Reference, he's an average of 3.4 years younger than the competition in the league he's playing in. He's also hitting .382 over his last 10 games and has only committed 2 errors at SS this year. He may end up not turning into anything, but he's far from a disappointment so far.

certainly agree. He seems to have real potential.

Really?? Only 18(We will be taking 19 yr olds from HS next week) and hitting decent. I like the fact he has only 2 errors all year. Dunand has like 9
