Zac Gallen should be in the majors. Clearly the most MLB ready pitcher they got out of all the trades the past year.

Speaking of which Pablo Lopez hasn't allowed a run in 14 IP (3 starts).

Hopefully that multi hit game gets Miller out of the slump he's recently been in.

Lazaro Alonso is the 23 year old Greensboro Barry Bonds. It's pretty funny how in the short time he's been there his stats look fake.

Doubtful we see Gallen in Majors until Sept(likely next year). We have a full rotation and Alcantara/Lopez/Peters/Richards are on 40 man already

Lazaro Alonso is solid BUT don't get too excited yet. GBoro is heaven for LH Power Bats, now if he gets to Jupiter and shows the same than start smiling. ALso yes he is 23 in Low A Ball but remember he spent 2 years OUT of baseball. Stone Garrett and Thomas Jones are guys to get exicted about if they keep it up

Id 100% keep gallen down until the super 2 date given that he to me is a guy that will be a fixture in our rotation for the foreseeable future unlike some of these other pitching prospects like Richards, maybe Peters, etc. I love his profile though and love that he is a college arm that the Cardinals drafted given that they are probably the best in the league at drafting guys.

Alonso needs to go to Jupiter already. He's 23 and he's clearly at a level above the sally league.

Pablo Lopez also excites me as a prospect. Guy just throws strikes. Guzman had a rough outing yesterday and couldnt find the plate but at least he's finally pitching every 5days. Now if we could only figure out where the hell trevor rogers is.

          - - - - - - - - - -

I think the plan for our pitchers will be to let the current rotation work itself out until the deadline where i think we deal straily and maybe Urena, then bring up gallen and richards again to fill their spots, and then in september when the SP prospects start getting near their IP limits just bring them up and put them in the bullpen for september and just let them get a month being around the big league club and acclimating to big league hitting slowly, then deal more of the SP's in the offseason and let guys like Lopez, Gallen, Alcantara, Richards, Peters battle it out next spring for the rotation spots with a little major league time and experience under their belt.

I don't mind that Alonso is in GBoro for another few weeks killing the league. They are treating him like a 2016 draft pick. The thing u need to remember about him is he didn't play while he was 20/21. As long as he finishes the year in Jupiter and is in Jax next year he is OK

Lopez is Henderson Alvarez light. Throws tons of strikes and has a Better FB

Again Gallen is NOT on the 40 man. He keeps pitching like this and he will be but guys on 40 man will get the call before him.

I think Henderson alvarez from that year or 2 he was healthy is a great comp for lopez. I know we dont need to do it immediately but i wish we could just cleanse the 40 man already. Cloyd, Despaigne, O'Grady, Rivera, Shuck, Kinley, Tazawa, Ziegler would all clear waivers i think, so i dont think the not being on the 40 man part is that big of a deal. But again it will all work itself out when we deal guys at the deadline.

Aloso another 2-4 with 2 2b's and a walk and Thomas jones with another hr. both good signs. also edward cabrera has been very unencouraging this year thus far.

J.T Riddle is in a rough spot. He's too good to be playing in AAA but not good enough to be an everyday MLB starter.

                        Jacob Turner sighting.

Riddle should be called up already. Even if he’s not starting, Riddle is a massive upgrade over Yadiel Rivera. I think he could give the Marlins at least what Rojas has offensively. I wouldn’t mind platooning the 2 of them.

agree on Riddle. I'd plant Austin Dean in LF also - he walks as much as he whiffs and has the nice OBP the Marlins need.
