I know sound like broken record but it is amazing to see what our minor league system has become in 1 year. Tons of talent and a guy who knows how to manage it. Denbo has no issues moving guys up whenever and letting them sink or swim
Austin Dean up to AAA

Gallen/Sierra and Alcantara are all young for AAA too
I would have taken a different OF but still was fair deal

Sierra started out terribly and dug himself a huge hole, but he's been hitting over .340 over the last 10. We probably have a slightly different impression of them if the Cards didn't rush them up last season...it's easy to forget both are 22 in AAA for the first time.

Castano while older for Hi A has looked solid too. Big lefty who could be a #5 SP/Innings Eater

Sierra is a guy who has started slow and then eventually mastered every level he has been at. He'll be fine, his hit tool isnt that bad, he just doesnt have any power. He'll be Jarrod Dyson 2.0 at least, and thats good enough. But he will be, to me, the type of guy who will struggle for a little at the major league level before he eventually adjusts and masters it. I wish we sent him to AA to start the year though, he seems like he's been rushed way too much the last 2 years, especially last year.
Alcantara actually hasnt had terrible control or much trouble until the later innings of his start, an indication he might not have the stamina to last as a starter. But he has been really damn good in the first 3-4 innings of every start thus far. His K rate is encouraging thus far too. And obviously it will be dissappointing if he cant last as a starter, but his floor is a really fucking good closer, which isnt the hardest thing to find but is still valuable. I think the floor of that Ozuna deal is at worst a dominant closer, #5 starter, an elite defensive 4th OF, and a flier bullpen arm which is not Ozuna value but also isnt completely useless either, especially seeing as Ozuna was 2 years away from free agency and I think he is not near the player he was last year and is likelier a mid .800's OPS guy.
I really like Gallen though. Think he's a rotation fixture #3 type guy for a long time. He reminds me of straily a little bit.

Monte Harrison is on fire all of a sudden. Its a fucking riddle that he's got 40 k's in 87 ab's yet still has a .787 OPS. hitting .385 in his last 10. once he makes some more adjustments he will be our best prospect by far. also has solid speed with 3 sb's already.
