8/31 - 9/7 Minor League Game Thread

Sam Perez destroyed Batavia this year. 13 starts, 1.88 ERA. He was previously used as a reliever in GBoro so maybe the switch to starter was a revelation for him.

Speaking of guys who did well this year, Ben Meyer with a 1.98 ERA in Jupiter over 82 IP. His strikeout to walk ratio is a ridiculous 94 to 17. Team has to eventually decide if he's a reliever or a starter, but he's been great in both roles.

the way the team has handled where they place meyer is absolutely ridiculous. It's really like they are just on autopilot and forget to move guys levels between years. This year was the 3rd straight year that Meyer was in GBoro and he has never been hit will there. IT makes 0 sense why he didnt just start the year in Jupiter and why he isnt in AA already.

Since his first start in Gboro, Ethan Clark hasn't allowed more than 2 runs in any appearance this year. Get that man to Jupiter next season so he can dominate that league.
