Trevor Richards went to Mater Dei in Breese, IL, the same high school as former Mets/Blue Jays catcher Josh Thole. Local burger joint Wallys has some of the best burgers you will ever eat, along with a Mets Thole jersey hanging on the wall.

Is James Nelson at Greensboro worth keeping an eye on? Is supposedly a little raw but has the tools to be a good defensive 3B and is hitting .318/.367/.471 in 255 ABs as a 19 year old; hit .284/.344/.364 in rookie ball last year.

Best position prospect we have. Needs to show more power but should come along with age

Nelson has slowed down a bit since the start of the season. He's a solid prospect but Greensboro isn't a great judge. If he puts up those numbers in Jupiter we can really start getting excited.

Peters, King, Richards, and Beggs have been the players I can remember following most this season. Seems the older, lower level pitchers have shined more than hitters at all levels of the Marlins system.
