Damn good to see Braxton Garrett finally playing. Pretty damn good start to his career with just 1 ER allowed in his first 9 2/3 IP.
Bout time. Good to see him pitching really well though. I think he'll be in Jupiter by the end of the year. He probably should be there already.

I think this is from his first start, but he looks like a smooth pitcher. I like his game a lot.

I only say Hood is #1 cause he is on the 40 man. Its the same reason Nicolino,Despaigne got called up before Worley. Hard to argue tho about Galloway now-nice to see it only took him 10 yrs to learn how to hit

Hopefully Garrett doesn't look to good otherwise they might try to trade him for some veteran arm!!

Mike King has been pretty impressive

Improvement for Conley only 3 runs instead of 8 or 9

I think I mentioned him in one of these threads a week or two ago. He has been two really bad starts and everything else is 33 IP, 2 ER allowed. He's also high strikeout, low BB guy which is reminiscent of what made Paddack such an attractive prospect in the system last year. Could definitely move towards the top of the prospect rankings by season's end.

              - - - - - - - - - -

Also looks like Hood took offense to me saying Galloway past him as minor league OFer #1. OPS back up near .800 again.

Going through this season, the obvious stand out prospects in a low end system have been Dillon Peters, Cody Poteet, Isaac Galloway, Dustin Beggs, Trevor Richards, Michael King, and Braxton Garrett. Looking at everything, I'd probably say Peters, Poteet, Garrett, and Brian Anderson being the guys in the system who stand out as potential major leaguers. JT Riddle would be on that list if he hadn't already reached the majors.

There's some promise showing in the low end minors, but sadly a lot of those impressive guys are 22-24 in A ball rather than 18/19. Makes it much more difficult to project their potential at this time.

At every single level. i cant believe we were the worst team in the league at every minor league level i think 2 years ago and now we have the worst farm system in baseball. weird how that works.
