Reality starting to hit Destin Hood. OPS down below .800 for the first time all year.

Mader now with a 2.01 ERA in Jupiter.

Nice game by Naylor. Needs to have those more consistently.

So Cosart's not coming back any time soon...

Austin Dean now batting an even .300. Definitely a breakout season for him.

Same thing for Brian Anderson, and more impressive to see it happening in Jupiter (seems he's learned from his struggles last year).

Not really interested in James Buckelew, but he's having a good season in Jupiter, and I'd just like to point out he looks like he was a part of the Great Train Robbery.

Soto continuing to progress in GBoro. He and Naylor are the big guys to watch in low A given that Garrett isn't even OPS'ing .700 so far.

Don't forget Garrett missed all of ST so he is finally getting into the flow. Soto IF he stays healthy is a very nice prospect

Buckelew is minor league depth even tho he puts up decent stats and was the guy who struck out 3 major leaguers he faced in ST. Old pic but would think the minors would have the same "No Facial Hair" Policy

Yeah, Garrett has a .860 OPS since start of May. I'm not concerned about him, just a really rough start after coming back from injury

Dillon Peters absolutely killing Jupiter right now. Easily our best prospect this season. Take out his first start and he has a 1.85 ERA over 34 IP. Hasn't walked more than a single batter in any of his games. Lets not forget that he was damn stellar in a tough college conference in 3 years at Texas. Add in that he's a lefty and he's won me over. Definitely want to see what he can do in Jacksonville.

Xavier Scruggs is too old in AAA at 28 years old to really be considered a prospect, but he's OPS'ing .931 right now. He was a consistent .800 OPS guy his minor league career dating back to 2009, got less than 60 AB's with the Cardinals and seemed to have lost his confidence in 2015. Along with Hood, Scruggs seems to be nice insurance in AAA in case of a potential injury to any of our outfielders (which we were close to seeing today).

Love following Galloway's career. Such a bad hitter that has been moved up the ladder based on pure longevity. Been in the system since Stanton arrived and isn't any closer to the majors than the day he was drafted.

Another good day from Brian Anderson.

Also forgot that Avery Romero was in Jax now. I thought he'd become our top prospect at some point after hitting .320 in GBoro, but that hit tool just fell off after going to Jupiter. Completely got exposed and doesn't seem to be getting better. Luckily we acquired Dee and Dietrich has grown into a major league hitter otherwise Romero's inability to become a top prospect would hurt more.

Also Peter Mooney with an .895 OPS in Jax. Again not a real prospect but he started his career hot in 2011 before stuff happened. Maybe he's back in the right situation.

Peters pitching like the 2nd Rd Pick he should have been before his injury. Just goes to show u how chances pay off. One thing to remember tho is he is pitching in Jupiter(Not really a great measuring stick for arms)

Scruggs is like Hood tho. Keep him in the minors and next year when we need that 4th OF/1B(Ichiro and Johnson gone prolly) they can battle it out in ST

Galloway is still the best tho. 1st Rd talent who went in like the 8th Rd. Showed nothing for years and while his bat still is crap has stayed in the system. How? No one seems to know HAHA

I hope Austin Dean keeps progressing. Might have a nice 4th outfielder once Ichiro retires.

Hood is hitting .160/.250/.240 in May. Regression is a hell of a drug.
