I really want Dunn traded, Hand moved to lefty specialist, and Conley put as the long reliever. I'd love to see Conley in the rotation over Nicolino, but I believe the organization will give him every chance to fail first or they'll be awful next year..

7/18-7/23 Minor League Transactions, from Baseball America:

-The Washington Nationals organization picked up P Connor Overton, who was released the week prior by the Marlins.

-As noted elsewhere on the site, OF Brent Keys was let go. He was a 17th round pick in 2009 and made it as high as AA. In 2015, he hit .209 with a .475 OPS in just 10 games in Jacksonville.
-Also released was C Jesus Flores. This was his first year in the Marlins organization, where he hit .216 with a .613 OPS in New Orleans. He was 16 of 73 with no homers and 5 RBIs.

-P Brandon Koch, late of the Orioles, was signed. He was waived by the O's on July 2nd. A 33rd round selection in the 2014 draft, Koch pitched six games for the GCL Orioles over the last two years. He has been assigned to the GCL Marlins.
-Also signed, or re-signed, was P Jesus Sanchez, who the Marlins released on June 30th.
