I honestly think him even being in Greensboro right now is pretty aggressive and I'm not super worried about his stat lines for a while.

Kolek over Rodon will haunt this team for years to come. Imagine going into next year with Jose, Rodon, Alvarez, Latos, and who-gives-a-fuck. We'd have a chance every night

Like, that's a fire-able move. If the past 12 years wasn't enough, that alone should have been the dagger in the heart to clear fucking house

I agree. I loved Kolek's potential during the draft but anybody with eyes knew Rodon was needed for a team looking to contend ASAP and was far more of a sure thing. It's baffling why they turned down the really good 2015 pitcher for the potential really good 2019 pitcher (Injury issues and overuse aside, Rodon still deserved to be the #1 pick).

Especially with how bad we need a #2 or #3 starter. Rodon would definitely be a decent #3 starter for us in 2016. Drafting him would've saved us a ton of money with not having to spend for a top tier pitching free agent.
