Rivas, a senior right handed pitcher from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, ended the season with a perfect 12-0 record in 15 starts. He compiled an earned run average of 1.80 in 95.0 innings pitched, and opponents had a batting average of just .178 against him. The 144 strike outs from Rivas in 2015 led the NAIA and set a new Bison program record.
