Not bad for a guy should have been out of baseball 2 years ago. Can't hit but least plays decent defense

In 22 2/3 IP, Nicolino's allowed 2 ER. We've been talking about how Nicolino can't sustain how he gets outs but outside of a 9 game stint in Jax he's 3.11 ERA or lower at every stop of the way. A few good starts and he could be starting in the majors by June.

Also Wittgren's had one bad outing and six outings where he's only allowed a single baserunner on a walk (no hits). I stand by what I said a year and a half ago that he could be a closer at some point in the future. He's a guy that's an injury or a few bad outings away by a major league reliver from getting some important 7th inning spots with the big league squad.

Sam Donatello's allowed 1 ER with an 11 K/1 BB ratio. He might not be major league ready like Wittgren but he's worth paying attention to throughout the year. A good season and he could be a September call up. I'm also rooting for him just for the TMNT jokes.

Miguel Rojas is hitting at AAA which is really surprising given his track record. It's his third season at some AAA affiliate and he's 26 so many he's just been there long enough to figure things out, but with his defense touted like it is we should likely see him replace Reid Brignac or Don Kelly (after he gets off the DL) at some point this season.

Reid Brignac and Don Kelly don't belong on the roster. He can replace Solano. Also he hit well in AAA last year with the dodgers. He's not a .911 OPS bat in AAA expect those numbers to stabilize as sample size increases.

As for Wittgren, trade Cishek tomorrow and make him the closer.

It is Sean Donatello and not even close to being on the radar. Ya nice to see Wittgren getting back to form-I have no clue what happened to Matt Ramsey however after Wittgren's crappy AA year he isn't even the closer in waiting. Ramsey is

Anderson is lowkey our best bat in the minors. Not Romero.

I liked how Sickels put it, boring name syndrome.

I love Brian Anderson. Hyped him up after the draft when he killed Gboro. Also have said he's a fast riser so he could be in the majors late 2016. I still see Romero as the highest upside guy and best hitting prospect in our system but not underestimating Anderson by any means.
