Oh so this really is a thing now.

Moran's ghost will follow us all the way to the grave (or just Houston).
      --------------------
Nicolino's season ERA is now at 2.84. Other than a bad stint in Jacksonville to end last year, Nicolino's ended every season with a pretty nice looking ERA even if he doesn't strike out people anymore. I think somebody already said he was a good ground ball pitcher but if somebody could post his FB% and GB% that would be great. Considering he doesn't walk anybody (18 walks in 139 IP this year, just wow), if he's a good ground ball pitcher there has to be a point we consider him as simply becoming a great control pitcher and has a legit chance to be a staple at the back end of the rotation at the very least by 2016 at the latest.

I'm just doing it to do it. I mean, I liked the trade.

How about giving Sanabia a look in place of Jacob Turner? I know he's likely nothing more than a AAAA starter at this point, but he's been good since joining New Orleans (15games, 83 innings, 22BB, 81K, 3.58 ERA), and very good his last 2 starts. I wouldn't mind him or Penny starting in place of Turner this week.

46.4% for his career, 44.4% this season.

Henderson Alvarez was 54.2% for his minor-league career.

Penny walked four hitters, barley threw 50% of his pitches for strikes, but the six shutout innings is the only thing the Marlins front office is likely to pay attention to

Jensen's 23 home runs are going to waste in the minors, so we can keep Kike and Solano seated on the bench everyday.

What I don't understand is why Miami "Insisted" in Hernandez being in the deal if they aren't going to play him. He has two at-bats in four games. The only thing I could guess is that they want him to start versus a left-handed pitcher. They face a lefty on Wednesday, so I would hope he gets the start.
