Carciase hit just .122 (.412 OPS) in 41 ABs in Batavia this year after hitting .229 (.733 OPS) at the same level last year.
Rivera too underperformed in Batavia this year, hitting just .176 (.593 OPS) this year in 17 ABs after hitting .148 (.513 OPS) in 81 ABs with the Muckdogs last year.
I'm not sure how often MILB.com's team rosters are updated, but both are still on Batavia's roster FWIW.
Ya both still on the roster but have not played in over a week and they brought up 2 guys from GCL(Woods and Olivencia)who are same exact players
Just weird to give up on guys draft kinda early but hey if u don't hit see ya
So you're telling me he's a platoon guy rather than an everyday starter. Not saying that's horrible but it's interesting to see.
Also interesting to mention Nick Wittgren's ERA is down to 3.17 with a solid 11 BB's/41 K's over 48+ IP. He's obviously not at the caliber prospect I was stupidly hyping him up to be to start the year but he's still a guy who should be in the Marlins 'pen by July 2015 and be a solid major league reliever.
Hey look Heaney did great. That's big since a few good Heaney starts and we could maybe give him another shot at the majors before the year ends. No big deal if he spends the rest of the season in AAA though.

I think it's a bit early to peg Moran as a platoon guy. It's common for lefties to struggle against lefties early on. He has been in the minors for 1 year.

Agreed. If I recall, some were saying the same about Yelich in the minors and he figured it out just fine.
