Lowell only gave up an unearned run! Haha Are we sure this isn't Mike Lowell trying to comeback as a pitcher?

Wallach isn't even fair. Hitting .350 in Greensboro.

Austin Nola is on quite the hot streak. 1.102 OPS in his last 53 AB's since the minor league All Star Break.

Looks like Barnes is finally settling in with Jax. Interesting to see they're playing him at 2B, but with Realmuto there that's the only way he gets into the everyday lineup. 2B is also likely his best chance to make the major league roster.

Oh look a Wittgren save and 2 K's. Are we sure this isn't a stat line from last year? Ha

Looks like a lot of guys in Greensboro are hitting well since the All Star break. Riddle has posted a .958 OPS. Austin Dean with a 1.142 OPS since. Romero now at an even .800 OPS hitting .323 on the year. With a little more power he'd be so much fun. Sh*t the entire Greensboro squad has been the most fun team to follow this year. Just about everybody, hitters and pitchers are playing well for them this year.

C'mon Moran one day put up some monster stat line so I can get excited over your play.

I'm not super impressed. Still isn't walking and has a .120 ISO. It's better than nothing but it's not turning my head either

There's 9 qualifying players in the FSL with OPS over .800. It's a dumb league.

Avery Romero K'd 20 times in April. Since then he's struck out 13 times.

I understand he's been pretty hot the last month, but overall I just don't see him having any impact on the games he plays offensively. No real extra base hits, no breakout games that make you take notice, just consistently decent. If he showed even a little more power he'd be a lot more fun to pay attention to.

Like people have said before, it's Jupiter and the numbers he posted don't indicate future bust or even a bad player. I just wish he was Kris Bryant (kidding kidding). Seriously though I just want him to have a game where I can see the scorecard and be like "damn, Moran really stood out". He's had one or two of those kind of games, but that's really about it.

I will say that game he had yesterday was what I'm happy to see, even if there were no XBH's. If he gets on base 3 times every 5 AB's, I'm sure he'll be just fine. It's those 1 for 4 days that happen all too often that make me go meh.

                            His LD% has jumped from 14.2% in 2013 to 20.4% in 2014.

That league is holding his power down, which was his longest-term projection tool anyway. And he's still on a 35+ double pace in a full PA season.

The walk rate needs to improve some, (he's down from 8.8% to 6.8%). He also has a nice strikeout rate though.

He's going to break out when he gets to Jacksonville.

If he puts up a .600 OBP, he'll be fine.

He has 20 multi-hit games and 12 1/4 games that happen all too often.

(this is the trolling portion of my post)
