2014 Bay Area player of the year:
The Oregon commit had a season to be remembered at Granada. Soltis completed his senior season with a .353 batting average, totaling nine triples and four home runs along the way. His power wasn’t the only trait that he carried on the field as he also finished with 13 stolen bases. He lead the East Bay Athletic League in home runs (4), runs (27) and slugging percentage (.729). ESPN rates Soltis as the 95th overall MLB draft prospect, which takes places this Thursday through Saturday. He is projected to go in the top five rounds.
