Duane Below walked 4 and struck out 1 in 5.1 for New Orleans tonight. Electrifying prospect.

So how long until Barnes goes to Jacksonville? He's 23 and is dominating A+ ball, just like he excelled at Greensboro last season. You can plug him at 2B with the Dietrich call up. Only reason I can think for them not calling him up (other than it's a bit early in the season) is that they still want Realmuto getting playing time at C and the Marlins see Barnes as a catcher long term.

For the record, Realmuto stinks in AA this season.

And Isaac Galloway's putting up his first good season since being drafted offensively (.841 OPS).

Mark Canha's always been an intriguing prospect. He hits just enough to keep your attention, but he so easily flies under the radar. I could see him as a backup 1B for us come mid 2014.

I never said Galloway was worth following, just that he's finally having a good year.

Just for that post I hope he becomes a superstar hall of famer.

Who ever considered him any kind of prospect?

No place for Barnes at AA,Perio got the call up to replace Dietrich at 2B and Realmuto needs to play. They wanna keep Barnes at C as long as his knee can hold up so best place for him is in Jupiter

Galloway sucks!! Just a matter of time before he gets hurt or messes up

Canha is a decent prospect but nothing really great. Steady bat tho

Below is around just in case we decide to get rid of LeBlanc/Dunn,he is someone they can just plug into either one of the spots. No prospect however gives us options

I think it's time to keep note of DeScalfini. Can't pitch much better than he has so far this season.

                          Also, <3 Wittgren.
