Chris Volstad's line vs. New Orleans:

    5.2 IP, 8H, 7R (6ER), 2K, 1BB, 1HR (to Gaby Sanchez)

Season ERA in AAA now up to a "beautiful" 5.55. This game was definitely not an event.

Amezaga led that game off for Iowa

      We need him back
God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

That Justin Jackson kid is doing pretty good in the GCL since being draft. Not calling him a future star, but for a 27th round pick, he might be somebody to at least consider keeping an eye on from time to time.

He's 23 in R ball and not striking anybody out

Yeah, I'm not paying attention to Jackson, but I've been intrigued with Stone. It's Rookie ball, so not a lot matters but he's 6'7" and has struck out 20 in 15 while allowing 9 H and 3 BB.
