    Jose Fernandez
    Adam Conley
    Kevin Cravey
    Greg Nappo
    Brent Keys
    Matt Smith
    Austin Barnes
    Josh Adams
    The Coaching Staff

The only problem I got is why are most of these guys still in the SAL?

Cravey,Nappo,Smith,Adams are already 23 or older and Fernandez,Conley are tearing the league up. Move them up and lets see what they can do,instead Jax has a team of 22 out of 26 guys who are minor league filler

Looks like we're doing work. 8 All Stars is impressive

Minor League all-star games a such a joke. Skipworth was invited to the AA ASG. A lot of the guys invited to these games will be out of baseball soon.

Well, they have, what, 10-12 teams to choose players from? Got to make due somehow.

But you said Jacksonville has a team of minor league filler. What would that have to do with moving Fernandez up?

U move an arm up to Jax from Jupiter and move Fernandez up to Jupiter. I am saying it is not like we have so many prospects in Jax that we can't do it

The owners of the Greensboro Grasshoppers Minor League Baseball team have completed their purchase of NewBridge Bank Park for $12.8 million from the Joseph M. Bryan Foundation of Greater Greensboro, becoming one of just a handful of groups that own the park where their team plays.

The purchase comes two months after The Business Journal first reported that the foundation was in negotiations with the team’s owners, Greensboro Baseball LLC, which is led by managing partners Wes Elingburg, Cooper Brantley and Len White.

The Greensboro Grasshoppers have offiicially completed their purchase of New Bridge Bank Park for nearly $13 million.

That means they own it and directly will profit from the revenues the downtown stadium raises.

This ballpark has been a rock-solid proposition for the city since it was built -- exclusively with private funds.

That means taxpayers didn't pay a dime for its construction and won't ever have to worry about its maintenance or upkeep.

It's hard to believe now, but a lot of people fought hard to stop the new ballpark

It's hard for me to remember why now. And probably for them, too.

For those who haven't been, it is a really, really nice stadium. I went there when the Marlins played an exhibition game and then I was there in May for the ACC tourney and I was inside in the clubhouse and tunnel areas which were also very nice.

I try to make it to a game anytime I visit the in-laws. It's a really good place to watch a minor league game.

Think it's about a 3 hour drive from Chapel Hill so maybe I'll head over for a weekend once I move up there

Yea. It's a very easy drive.

The 3 hr drive would be Chapel Hill to Charlotte.
