What the hell has he been doing this last year? And how did he go from undrafted last season to drafted now?

David Cruz is a 2011 C/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Southwest. Cruz has a athletic build with present strength, hits from a square stance, relaxed setup, good hitting approach, nice and easy line drive swing, stays balanced through swing, has lift in swing, has some pop and could develop more with more lower half drive, defensively, quick transfer and release, has solid feet, ball comes out of hand well, arm works.
