Marlins Acquire OF Ruggiano from Astros

Don't know if this belongs here or in the Marlins forum...

Marlins acquired OF Justin Ruggiano from the Astros for C Jobduan Morales according to Marlins' Twitter account. Ruggiano has played in the majors with the Rays and was hitting .325 with five homers, 29 RBIs and a .990 OPS in 117 ABs in AAA this year.

Morales split last year between Jamestown and Greensboro and hit .275 with four homers total and has a career OPS of .754. Has no stats this year and is on Jamestown's roster.

Yeah, he'd be a huge downgrade from Kevin Mattison.

We're starting a career .633 ops minor league player who has one game experience in the OF in 738 pro games in left field tonight, so they can call up whoever they want at this point as far as I'm concerned.

You should have gone to Jax to see the Suns when they had Matt Kemp, Andy LaRoche, Russ Martin, Chad Billingsley and Jonathan Broxton. You would've known better.
