Id be in favor of Coghlan finding his stroke again (way too early for that though).

Probably a higher chance of a stroke finding Coghlan

Well that just seems uncalled for.

            He's got a 7 game hitting streak in which he's 12/28 with 4 multi-hit games.

He's also 5/13 off lefties down there.

Now he just needs to continue this for, oh, about 2 more months and maybe we can give him a look again.
            --------------------
Skipworth went 0/4 tonight and is hitting .132/.250/.211 this month. .188/.271/.357 overall with 43k. He's just the best.

His strikeout rate is somehow higher (38.3%) than last year (36.1%).
            --------------------
I'd still love to know why they had him skip Jupiter.

Brent Keys was featured on the BA Hot Sheet today, under the "Helium Watch" section.

                • Brent Keys, of, Marlins. At 29-10, the Greensboro Grasshoppers currently have the second best record in minor league baseball, trailing only the St. Lucie Mets. A big reason for the Grasshoppers' fast start is Keys, who has hit so well he's been moved from leadoff to the No. 3 spot in Greensboro's lineup. When Keys, 21, got his first swing at the South Atlantic League last year, he failed and had to take a remedial trip to short-season Jamestown. There are no such problems this year. This week he strung together four straight three-hit games and he has seven three-hit games this month. Keys may not project as an everyday big league center fielder because he isn't a blazing speedster, but he does everything else you look for in a top-of-the-order hitter. Keys draws some walks, very rarely strikes out (only 7 percent of his plate apperances this year). takes good routes and has enough arm to be able to play right field if needed. He currently leads the South Atlantic League in batting average and on-base percentage.

Nah. Myth that only relates to super prospects.

Keys is actually below the 25th percentile of age in the SALLY (going by last year's numbers, but it should roughly be the same). He's the same age as a JUCO guy in his first full season.
