Marlins-related transactions last week from Baseball America: Marlins signed C Steve Holm (formerly of the Rockies...has hit .241 in 108 MLB at-bats) and re-signed P Michael Jarman (pitched at A+ Charlotte last year for TB).

Got to see his last start. Pretty impressive. Maintained above average velocity (92-94) and he's a lanky dude, so there's reason to believe he can gain some more. It seemed like he mostly threw fastball / change (both of which seem like good pitches). I was mostly impressed with his command though. Moved around the zone pretty well and kept the ball low. Seemed like everything was hit weakly on the ground.

Not as impressive as watching Fernandez, but still quite good.

Yelich on top of Baseball America's Prospect Hot Sheet. Conley's in there too.
