So I am pretty bored so I thought I'd begin speculation as to who might be in New Orleans this upcoming season. I have a list of 28 players who have a chance of starting the 2012 campaign in New Orleans. Here's the list:
Starting Pitchers:
Tom Koehler, RHP
Wade LeBlanc, LHP
Elih Villanueva, RHP
Alex Sanabia, RHP
Omar Poveda, RHP
Sean West, LHP
Brad Hand, LHP
Robert Ray, RHP
Bullpen:
Pete Andrelcyzk, RHP
Alberto Bastardo, LHP
Jose Ceda, RHP
Dan Jennings, LHP
Corey Madden, RHP
Evan Reed, RHP
Sandy Rosario, RHP
Garrett Parcell, RHP
Beau Jones, LHP
infielders:
Clint Sammons,C
Luke Montz, C
Ben Lasater, 1B
Matt Dominguez, 3B
Jeff Dominguez, INF
Jim Negrych, INF
Paul Gran, INF
Tim Torres, INF
Donovan Solano, INF
Kevin Mattison, OF
Chris Coghlan, OF
The biggest question to me, is the starting rotation. They have, as of right now, eight guys capable of starting. If they don't sign two starters for the big league club, then this list would shrink down to six.
