JUNIOR (2010)
John Schultz had an outstanding season at the plate, batting .404...Schultz also recorded a perfect fielding percentage on the season...his 76 runs scored led the team and is a Pitt single-season record...had a team-high and school-record 56 walks on the year and held the best on-base percentage at .521...brought home a career-high five RBI against Duquesne on April 14...was named to the Big East Conference Weekly Honor Roll on March 22...hit a two-run walk-off homerun in the bottom of the ninth to knock off USF on May 20...was named to the All-Big East and ABCA/Rawlings All-East Region Second Teams.
SOPHOMORE (2009)
John Schultz was a staple in the Panther outfield in 2009...he was second on the team in starts with 46...took home an on-base percentage of .400 and slugged .468...went 3-for-6 with a homer and two RBIs against St. Bonaventure on March 7...drew a team high 24 walks on the year, best on the team...went 4-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI at conference powerhouse South Florida...batted .341 with runners aboard...showed great hustle as he led the team in triples with three...crossed the plate second-most times on the team with 44 runs scored.
FRESHMAN (2008)
Schultz played in the outfield for all 34 games making 26 starts...batted .309 with 94 plate appearances, with 29 hits and 11 RBI on the season... eight multi-hit games on the year, including a career-high 4-for-5 performance against Duquesne on April 16 where he scored three times and drove in one run...had a career-high three RBI in a 1-for-3 performance against Georgetown on April 26...hit safely in seven of final eight games to end the 2008 season... .425 on base percentage ranked third highest on the team for the season...career-high seven putouts in March 30 game against Louisville...finished season with 50 putouts, three assists and zero errors in the field...only player on the team to appear in at least 25 games and commit no errors.

Schultz finished out his senior year with a .457 batting average...batted a career-high .518 as a sophomore...helped high school team to three county championship titles...three-time all-county selection...named 2007 Berks County Player of the Year...Selected first team all-state as a senior...was also captain of the Wilson High School golf team...a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society...named to National Dean's List and President's List for academic achievement.

John Schultz added yet another record to his already impressive Pitt all-time
leaders list. On May 15, Schultz hit a double in the seventh inning to move him
into sole possession for the career doubles mark at Pitt with 52. Schultz already
