        So what is the deal with Hermida? Was that one year at Zebulon just an anomaly?

            I talked to a guy with Pittsburgh about this tonight. He said he didn't know how that got misread into him getting released. I don't think it was on the Pirates end (but I'm not sure, it might have been.)

                    Smolinski is turning it up. 2-3 with a HR and 2 walks today. .269/.379/.452 on the year with 4 homers 19:15 K/BB.

                    .293/.408/.585 in May after a slow start in APril.

                            Yeah, his May has been awesome. 12 H (3 2B, 3 HR), 8 BB and THREE strike outs. In 50 or so plate appearances.
