Well for those of us with a friend playing for a minor league team these games are anything but meaningless. They are the hope of a future.

lol well in my case Dallas Trahern.

Im sure that Tom Koehler's family and friends are pretty interested in how well he is playing.

Perhaps Marlins fans because these guys could be the best Marlins or trade bait to get a missing piece for the Marlins.

NOLA has a day game today. Koehler is pitching. So far: 5.0 IP, 3 H (1 HR), 1 ER, 3 BB, 6 SO, 5:2 GB/FB.

That's 17 IP on the year (10 H, 4 BB, 15 K). I feel pretty strongly he would perform better than Volstad right now.

My boy Josh Hodges is either hurt, cut, or is starting in Jamestown

none of these are for me

I haven't heard anything regarding Hodgy. There are a number of arms that I'm curious as to where they are (Hodgy, Varner, Mahoney - wait. did he get cut?).

Hodges might be in EST considering he has yet to be particularly good and was pretty bad last year.

Some very nice pitching performances tonight. Koehler, Hand, and Olmos were all pretty dominant.

                          AAA, NOLA: W, 2-1
Two hits, two home runs. Koehler domination.

                          Aguila: 1-2, HR, BB

                          A+, Jupiter: W, 5-0
Everyone got a hit tonight. Olmos, Kaminska shut it down.

                          Austin: 1-4, BB, SO
Pertusati: 2-4, SO (OPSing over 1.000. Only 20. He's definitely going to cool as he doesn't have the kind of power he's showing, but watch out for this kid.)
                          Torres: 2-4, SO
                          Fermin: 3-4, 2B

                          A, Gboro: W, 7-4
A bunch of singles, and then Ozuna went yard.

Great Showing by Hand. Nice to see Jennings back to his old tricks as well.
