I agree, but Jupiter is hardly the place for a struggling hitter to figure it out.

I still have hope, even though MK is such a Debbie Downer.Amy Adams, AKA Cinnamon MuffLogan Morrison: "If baseball didn't exist, I would probably be ... like a curler. Or a hairstylist."

His Arizona numbers were promising.
.267/.333/.483 with his strikeout rate dropping from 33% to 25%. Small sample size (60 ab), but also against players who are for the most part further along than him.
I really wouldn't be surprised if he kinda broke out in Jupiter. I also wouldn't be surprised if hit .195.

Considering his jump to AA after the depth depletion and being sent to AFL, would not be surprised if he skipped jupiter.
But I don't have much faith in him as of now. He actually did not show much power (Greensboro), once you adjust for park his ISO went from .177 to .136 (.200 = power hitter, .150 = average power, .100 = slap hitter, .050 = Bonifacio). So he had below average power.

He also doesn't walk and he strikes out way way way too much. He does not have a single current plus in his offensive game, MAYBE babip (.328 unadjusted BABIP in gboro last year) but his career mark is .297Last edited by nny; 02-13-2011, 12:03 AM.
