I have 30 prospects but there is a limit on how many I can put on a poll.

Really needs to be a list. Maybe not yet because the top 6-7 are going to be easy in some order, but going to get wild at some point if you intend to go to 30.

Yea, he's a fringe top 30 guy. And that's only because the Marlins system is average/below right now due to all the graduations. It's like when people though Graham Taylor was a top 5 prospect.

I don't intend to go to 30, I was going to stop at 15, but I didn't want to have just 15 prospects listed, I wanted to have more to choose from than restricting everyone to only 15.

After seeing the poll options maybe we shouldn't do this. It's just depressing to see how horrible the farm system is.

Good lord, I guess I just hadn't really thought about it. Worst our system has been in years.

                    For me, it's James.

And yeah, that system is bad, but the ML core is also very young.

I went with Dominguez over James because Dominguez has proven to be effective at a higher level of competition while James had an "ehh" season at Greensboro (albeit with very good peripherals)

It was definitely Todd who voted for Vilanueva.

Personally, I like the Koehler vote.

                            Yes, this is bigger point.

                            ----

And I don't know why you guys think the system is THAT bad. Yea, they don't have a mega top 20 prospect like Stanton or Morrison, but they should have three future starters in Dominguez, Yelich, and Skipworth (yes, he's a catcher and is that young), some possibilities with Cousins, Smolinski, Martinez, and Ozuna types, some good left handed pitching prospects with James, Hand, Olmos, Rasmussen, and a slew of potential good relievers with Dunn, Mharinez, Ceda, Jennings, Cishek, Koehler, Reed, Caminero, etc. Plus, a few interesting projects like Poveda, Trahern, Berglund, Galloway, or even Petersen, who could all turn into useful parts at some point off their injuries. This also doesn't include West and Sanabia, who for all intensive purposes will be in AAA to open the year.

It just ain't THAT bad. It's maybe our weakest farm in probably a decade, but that's only because "Cabrera," "Ramirez," "Hermida," "Stanton," "Maybin," or "Morrison," isn't at the top. It's not because everyone else is completely devoid of talent. And like Swift said, our major league core is so young we're not setting ourselves back with the Sinkbiel/other busts that have occurred.

The system now that players have graduated is awful. That is not saying the organization as a whole is, just those who belong on a prospect list right now.
