Hand also had a nice day, as the 2 runs taken off him were somewhat cheap.

            5.0 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 4 SO

Skip has gone 2 for 4 with a double -- August is going to be his month. I can feel it.

i really don't care what skip does for average or his power numbers or anything like that.

Until his strike out rate is sub-25% I hate him. Everything else is useless fluff that'll go down the drain against major league quality pitching. Well, unless he grows into something like Stanton power lol.

Now he did cut his strike out rate to 28% last month, and he's only struck out 3 times in 12 ABs so far in August.

              So keep it up please.
              --------------------
              by month

              April: 32%
              May: 48% (lol)
              June: 31%
              July: 28%

                        according to JCR
INF Andy Gonzalez outrighted to AAA.
LHP Graham Taylor outrighted to AA.
does that mean the marlins have 2 spots in the 40man roster now?

counting the active roster on the marlins' website
                              http://florida.marlins.mlb.com/team/...n.jsp?c_id=fla
i counted 43 players, 5 on the dl
so that means we have 2 spots right, am i missing something?
