The Florida Marlins have released right-handed pitcher Kyle Gunderson. Gunderson, who was acquired last May from the Washington Nationals for pitcher Logan Kensing, had a 3.09 ERA in 25 games out of the bullpen this season for three different levels.
Gunderson spent most of the year in Double-A Jacksonville. He was 1-0 with a 3.28 ERA in 14 games out of Tim Leiper's bullpen.
