    Kyle Gunderson Released

    The Florida Marlins have released right-handed pitcher Kyle Gunderson. Gunderson, who was acquired last May from the Washington Nationals for pitcher Logan Kensing, had a 3.09 ERA in 25 games out of the bullpen this season for three different levels.
    Gunderson spent most of the year in Double-A Jacksonville. He was 1-0 with a 3.28 ERA in 14 games out of Tim Leiper's bullpen.

        The Florida Marlins released Suns reliever Kyle Gunderson before Saturday’s game, making room for Peterson’s return to the Suns.
        That's Matt Peterson, FYI, who had been with Jax and then went to NOLA and was sent back down to Jax

          They must have told him he was going back to Jupiter and he didn't want to and asked for his release. That's my guess.
