Lopez batted .414 for Compton and stole 31 bases in 34 attempts.
Lopez, a Jordan High graduate, was also an All-South Coast Conference first-team selection and was chosen as the Rawlings Big Stick Offensive Player of the Year for Southern California.Sanchez lifeComment
