Lane Files for Free Agency

Minor league outfielder Jason Lane is no longer with the Marlins organization. The former Houston Astro filed for free agency yesterday, and will become a free agent. Lane was batting .229 with only 2 home runs for the Zephyrs while playing the outfield and first base.
