2005 first round pick Sean West is set to be activated from the 7-day disabled list to take the mound for the New Orleans Zephyrs tonight against the Omaha Royals at Zephyr Field. West, who has been dealing with back issues since Spring Training, has not thrown in a minor league game yet this season. West has been slow to recover from his bad back injury but has been throwing in extended spring training complex in Jupiter, Florida. The 6'8'' lefty is looking to get back to form so he can return to the majors where he won 8 games as a rookie last season for the Marlins.
