Right-handed pitcher Kris Harvey is very close to being at full strength. Today Harvey will begin a 'rehab' assignment with the Jupiter Hammerheads. Harvey, who has not thrown a pitch this season due to a knee injury, will throw a few games for the Hammerheads before being promoted back to Double-A where he'll likely spend the rest of the season.
The former second-round outfielder, who was placed on the 40-man roster this past off-season, was 6-7 with a 4.38 ERA in 38 games for the Hammerheads last year in his first full year as a pitcher.
