Also, not to be forgotten is Alejandro Sanabia continuing his great start to the season, with his best outing yet.

If you aren't up to speed on Sanabia yet, he is proving to be one of the brighter spots among the pitching ranks in the Marlins system. He's only 21 and he started off last year much of the same way in Jupiter -- just lighting batters up. Through 4 starts...

I just read that Stanton's 3 homers were to right, left, then center. It's even more amazing to see him hitting with authority to all fields.

How is Sanabia's stuff? Is this a Ryan Tucker situation, where Sanabia's dominating the lower levels based on one outstanding pitch (with no quality secondary pitches), or does Sanabia have a good mix of MLB projectable pitches?

I know last year he was throwing a low-90s two-seamer that had above average sinking life, with a big slow average slurve, and working on an improving changeup. I have a few scout friends, and I've been told that his future hinges on the changeup, and that sometimes it looks like an out pitch, and sometimes he throws it too fast and it's just crazy hittable. Scouts have always said he has major league stuff but I did read that Jim Fleming said something to the effect of "he just figures out how to succeed at every level," which usually means he his behind the ball on major league protection.

Not sure what the case is for his success right now.

I'm curious if anyone has the story on Matthew Montgomery

10th round draft pick last year, missed his junior and most of his senior year from TJ surgery. So not omg high pick but not a 20th round guy. Got the opening day nod for Greensboro

He walked the third batter of the season, hasn't walked another since. But unlike the Graham Taylors, he's actually King guys, and massive GB rate.

He's also 22 in A ball though

There have been conflicting reports he was topping out 86-87 from what I remember last year. Could have been tired "dead arm" period, but for right now now, we need to figure out if he's hitting 92 or not. He's gonna get "Petit" creamed if he's not. I too have heard his changeup is his bread and butter.
