The Five-Time Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots have announced the signing of left-handed pitcher Graham Taylor.
Taylor has spent his entire career in the Miami Marlins organization. He made the Major League club in 2009, where he appeared in three games, and also has four seasons of Double-A experience.
He spent the 2012 season at the Double-A level in Jacksonville and finished with a 9-11 record, a 3.97 ERA, and 86 strikeouts in 147.1 innings pitched in 26 games started.
Taylor has a minor league career 48-39 record, a 3.47 ERA, and 515 strikeouts in 777.0 innings pitched in 138 games. His last three seasons have all been at the Double-A level.
“Graham brings a strong track record and experience to our staff. It’s always a plus when you can bring in a guy like Graham that has had success in the minors that led to the big league opportunity and is looking to get back there,” said Brett Jodie, manager of the Somerset Patriots Baseball Club.
