The helmet isn't surgically attached to your head. It's not uncommon for a helmet to fall off when you're going all out. I've seen head injuries from every scenario I listed, either personally or on TV.

PLAYOFFS!

Everything finally fell into place this year, and while injuries stumbled us into the playoffs, I'm ridiculously happy to make the playoffs.

Big parts of this team came from two tough trades, sending off Teixeira and Huber. Drabek, Russell, League, and Smith were necessary for this run.

And then there are guys that have been with me from day one, either in the minors or the big leagues. Most of my lineup; Izturis, Sweeney, Cuddyer, Cano, Iannetta, Quentin, and Stokes; came from the inaugural draft.
